About The Cookbooks
I love to cook. I also love to eat, but have given up going to restaurants because they use too much salt and over-season their food most of the time. Not only that, but in order to make a profit, restaurants must charge a certain amount. So to make it appealing to you, the consumer, they often serve a lot more food than you can eat. Yet you pay for it. I'm not a total purest, but I am trying to use real ingredients rather than unhealthy pre-prepared foods just to shorten the preparation or cooking time.
These cookbooks contain recipes from my mother, my grandmother and many friends and relatives along with those I either made up or modified over the years. All the recipes have been tried and tested. I do a lot of testing on friends and relatives and utilize their suggestions in finalizing the end result.
Many things are involved in being a good cook. I have tried to include those things on my web page to assist the new cook who is starting out, the working mother as well as the established cooks because new information is constantly springing up. It also includes a page on how to turn regular recipes into low fat recipes. There is information on each recipe showing the nutritional values and calories.
Our plans are to publish at least 12 cookbooks that will help with specific items such as barbecues, sauces, seafood, meats, main courses, casseroles, soups and sandwiches, salads, side dishes, breakfasts, brunches, breads, appetizers, beverages and all kinds of desserts. These are all offered to you at a very low rate of $29.95 plus shipping and handling and can contain a card for gift giving.
If you are interested in menus for special occasions, suggestions and hints to make life easier in the kitchen, how to cook unusual items plus a little humor, sign up for our free monthly newsletter.
